The winter has come, the snow is all around and it’s quite cold outside –now is the best time to listen to something magical and enchanting, and the music by the band Faun is the best choice for this. It is said that all fairytales, legends and stories that exist now in our world were born many millennia ago exactly in the wintertime, when the snowstorm was raging outside and everyone was sitting around the fire listening to fascinating stories. In the music of German band Faun, that combines folk and medieval but doesn’t limit its sound only to these two styles, there are quite a lot of such stories – since the release of the debut album “Zaubersprüche” in 2002 the band has released six more albums, the latest CD “Von den Elben” came out right at the beginning of 2013.
